Guests from all over the world given ride in Dakar special

Nearly eight hundred guests from twenty-three countries had the unique opportunity to enjoy a day of adventure and adrenaline with Renault Trucks specials and the MKR Technology team. In cooperation with Renault Trucks Central East, the Židovice team hosted a traditional testing event for their customers and press.

            “We’ve been enjoying great cooperation with Renault Trucks since our circuit racing days and I’m very happy that the close relationship has continued even after we had moved on to off-road and distance rallies. This gives us the opportunity to prepare an even more adrenaline-filled events, which is also why this one is so popular and sought-after. After all, originally just a few days have become a week-long event, where the customers can get familiar with products as well as possibilities and extreme limits of the Renault Trucks models,” comments Klára Kress, MKR Technology manager.

            Following two previous years that took place in Senica, Slovakia, the Reault Trucks customers were invited to a completely new location in the near Sekule. Even here there was a packed programme of competition activities prepared for them. The customers got a chance to get a ride in Dakar specials with Martin van den Brink, try technical rides with on trucks, timed races in off-road buggies and canoeing. Naturally, a technical tour commented by the renowned constructor Mario Kress could not be missed. “The feedback we have is beyond expectations. We feel how the public is following us and recording our racing results. Compared to previous years the customers ask more questions, listen more attentively and, most importantly, their number has grown. At the end of every day, I can’t speak properly, but I must admit that the level of knowledge is really pleasing. This year was very different, an absolutely fantastic week and I look forward to the next event we’re gonna host together,” said Mario Kress, chief constructor and boss of MKR Technology.

            The annual event organized jointly by Renault Trucks Centre East and MKR Technology is one of a kind, you will not find anything like it in Europe. “We give our customers the opportunity to experience an unusual adventure, underscoring the non-traditional and unique nature of the event. This, and the fact they will not find anything like it anywhere else, attracts people from around the globe,” adds Tereza Porubová of the Renault Trucks organizational team.
