Kuba Wins the Pharaons Rally on Ardavichus’ Truck

Amazing victory! Bonver Dakar Project’s Tatra run by an engine from our technology centre triumphed at the Pharaons Rally. The Kazakhstani pilot Artur Ardavichus literally flew over the Egyptian sand dunes and achieved a well-deserved win in his category this year. The result has made us even more happy due to the fact that Ardavichus’ crew mechanic was one of our own, Jakub Hřava.
„It was an amazing race with a great track. I’m sure that also fans must have been excited by the passages and jumps around the pyramids. I certainly was. We tried how the car worked on fast desert roads, rocky sections and dune fields. Artur is an experienced pilot, and so racing with him is a real treat,“ commented Jakub Hřava, a crew mechanic from our team, with appreciation.
Thanks to the pilot Ardavichus’ and his entire crew’s faultless performance the turquoise Tatra could celebrate this year’s first win. This is even more valuable because of the fact that the Pharaons Rally is above all a test before the preparations for the upcoming year of the world‘s toughest race, the Dakar Rally. “All in all, we were successful. After the technical changes we have made the truck was working great. I would like to thank all those who were here with me because they did a wonderful job,“ praised Artur Ardavichus his team including Jakub Hřava.
