MKR starts at Rally Morocco

1.10.2022

MKR starts at Rally Morocco A North Bohemian truck from the workshop of the MKR Technology crew will start the Moroccan rally today. The racing hybrid special from Mario Kress will again be led by the Dutch pilot from Riwald Dakar Team Gert Huzink.

"We have made numerous adjustments since January's Dakar. We focused on the full suspension system and engine adaptations, so the main goal of the race is to try and test all these improvments and inventions in a full race mode,” commented MKR Technology Chief Designer Mario Kress.

However, the Dutch pilot would like to get a taste of the weekly Rallye du Maroc. Last year he won 3 out of 5 stages, but due to a suspension problems, he finished the 3rd stage with a penalty early and lost the overall lead.

The race begins with a Saturday prelude in Agadir, where the timed special has a metaphorical 9 kilometers. As of Sunday, there are already five full-fledged examinations on the program. The crews will have to cover nearly two and a half thousand kilometers, of which fifteen hundred are measured. The race will thus end on Thursday again in Agadir.
