Assen – Racing circuit in the Dutch city of Assen hosted the biggest truck and racing truck meeting in Europe. Naturally, neither the Dakar special from our technology centre could miss an affair of this importance.
“Our racing special and the Mammoet Rally Sport team took part in the Renault Truck Netherlands exhibition which launched a new model series of lorries and utility vehicles. An exhibition like that is always a great opportunity to show our common effort. After all, almost fifty-five thousand visitors came to see the festival,” pointed out our team manager Klára Kress.
The Truckstar Festival in Assen, Netherlands, is the greatest annual event of its kind in Europe. The racing circuit venue was filled with more than two thousand trucks. This year the festival took place for a thirty-fifth time already. “The atmosphere here is relaxed and very friendly. Whole families come to enjoy the weekend. There are various competitions held, adrenaline events and performances. The entire racing circuit becomes an automobile city filled with steel, fun and smell of fuel,“ described Klára.
